- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of site water treatment systems, ensuring they run safely and meet regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve performance, reduce downtime, and keep systems operating efficiently.
- Track and review system performance data to support ongoing improvements.
- Provide hands-on leadership and support to the Water Treatment team.
- Ensure the team is trained, following safety standards, and prepared to respond to any operational issues.
- Work closely with other departments and manage resources, budgets, and reporting to keep operations running smoothly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in water treatment operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in the mining or natural resource industry is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support, coach, and develop team members.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in day-to-day operations.
- Experience working with water treatment systems and related software/tools.
- Good understanding of environmental regulations and safety requirements.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Specifically for the Water Operations Supervisor, we offer an annual base salary range of $100,00.00 - $120,000.00, along with a variety of bonuses. These bonuses include monthly efficiency bonuses linked to safety and production, quarterly retention bonuses, and a performance bonus tailored to reward your contributions. Our benefits package also includes paid vacation and personal days, 7% RRSP matching, and 100% employer-paid extended health and dental care, among other valuable perks.
