Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to provide high-quality support to individuals in home care settings. The ideal candidate will assist with daily activities for a female client at home, will provide medication management. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those needing assistance with dignity and respect.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring proper documentation and safety protocols
- Support residents with meal preparation and feeding to promote proper nutrition
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident rooms and common areas to maintain a safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare team members
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques to prevent falls and injuries
- Support dementia care by implementing personalized routines and engaging residents in meaningful activities
Requirements
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care is preferred
- Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, medication administration, and working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable
- Compassionate attitude with excellent caregiving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to maintain a clean environment through basic cleaning duties
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; a commitment to providing respectful and dignified care is essential
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
