Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen and Bathroom Renovator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial renovation projects, with expertise in various aspects of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing. This role involves transforming kitchens and bathrooms through precise craftsmanship, adherence to blueprints, and efficient project execution. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality renovations that meet client specifications and industry standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Install cabinets, countertops, tile flooring, and wall coverings with precision and attention to detail
- Perform plumbing and electrical work related to kitchen and bathroom upgrades
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively
- Conduct concrete forming, finishing, and restoration tasks as needed for structural or aesthetic purposes
- Apply caulking, painting, and other finishing techniques to ensure a polished final appearance
- Manage demolition, site preparation, and cleanup to maintain a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to estimate project timelines, materials needed, and overall scope of work
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes throughout all phases of renovation projects
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Extensive experience with carpentry, cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry
- Skilled in plumbing, electrical work, concrete forming/finishing, welding, and restoration techniques is a bonus
- Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, as well as heavy equipment when necessary
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques and caulking applications for seamless finishes
- Strong understanding of construction safety standards and ability to identify potential hazards on-site
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members alike
- MUST HAVE a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
