Shop Foreman – Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic
Location: Drayton Valley, Alberta
Jerico Truck & Trailer Repair Inc. is looking for an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our growing heavy-duty repair facility. We’re searching for a motivated leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, keeps the shop running efficiently, and helps build a strong team culture.
Responsibilities
● Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop.
● Schedule and prioritize repairs to meet customer and fleet deadlines.
● Oversee preventative maintenance for our company fleet.
● Perform diagnostics, repairs, and inspections on heavy trucks and trailers.
● Complete and oversee Alberta CVIP inspections.
● Supervise and mentor apprentices and technicians.
● Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment.
● Ensure repairs are completed to the highest quality standards.
● Coordinate with management to maximize shop productivity and customer satisfaction.
● Manage parts, work orders, and shop workflow.
Qualifications
● Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician (or equivalent).
● Alberta CVIP Inspection Licence (or eligible to obtain).
● Strong leadership and organizational skills.
● Experience managing technicians and shop operations.
● Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
● Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 1 is considered an asset).
