We believe in fostering the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of every child. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team.
Job Description:
The ECE Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children aged 1 to 5 years. The teacher will design and implement age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones, support social and emotional growth, and encourage creativity and exploration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cover the regular teacher shifts
- Create a positive learning environment that is both safe and stimulating
- Maintain classroom order and structure, ensuring that all children are engaged and participating.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
- Follow all regulations and guidelines for early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education
- Minimum of 1 year of full time experience working in an early childhood education setting in group child care.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification
- A warm, nurturing, and patient demeanor.
- Canadian citizen or P.R.
- Must speak and write in English
