Clearly Canadian is searching for a Logistics Coordinator. This role is responsible for coordinating distribution and logistics in a fast-paced high growth environment.
The successful candidate will combine a strong analytical mindset, be detailed oriented, be a self-starter, self-motivated and curious about how things work. Setting goals and delivering against expectations are key to success for this role. This is a remote role and the candidate can be located anywhere in Canada.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead monthly inventory reconciliation for each warehouse - comparing the actual physical inventory on hand with the inventory records
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production and sales.
- Create and manage purchase orders for inventory replenishment.
- Track and report inventory metrics to senior management.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system.
- Ensure compliance with all inventory-related policies and procedures.
- Effectively plan and execute the transfer of inventory, including all port of entry documents.
- Determine material requirements based on the production schedule and sales forecasts.
- Build and manage relationships with 3rd party logistics providers and ocean freight carriers.
- Monitor 3rd party logistics management company to ensure daily execution of customer orders.
- Manage all aspects of customer service through sales, order processing, and scheduling deliveries.
Minimum requirements
Two to three years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
Experience working in a fast-growing business preferred.
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to focus on big-picture objectives and concepts while delivering day-to-day results.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work collaboratively with team members across different departments
