The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 4th, 2026.
Tasks for this role include:
- Hand out cups or bottles of water to participants at various points along the Run route
- Cheer on participants and offer words of encouragement
- Help clean up water station areas once the Run is complete
- This is an active role in which you will need to stand for long periods of time
