Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dentist during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. Duties
- set up and assist the dentist in a full range of dental procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, implant restoration, and provision of children's prophylaxis
- maintain a high level of IPC standards throughout all clinic procedures and protocols
- instruct patients in proper oral health and educate patients about dental problems and their treatment options
- help to manage patient expectations/experiences
- take patient records, including radiographs, conventional and digital impressions, bite registrations, oral photographs, and patient histories
- aid in charting including entering treatment planning and scheduling patients
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment at all times
- Collaborate with the dental team to improve workflow efficiency
Experience
- Registration with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants as a dental assistant
- Previous experience as a dental assistant and management of the clinical operations of a dental clinic
- exceptional communications skills
- strong computer and typing skills
- CPR certifications
- knowledge of Cleardent is an asset
- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or in patient communication roles is advantageous

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
