## Senior DevOps Engineer (Client-Facing)

MOBILEARTH is seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an expert who doesn't just manage infrastructure, but acts as a trusted technical partner to our clients. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex server environments and the people who rely on them.
### The Role
You will own the reliability, performance, and security of Dev and QA and production systems. We operate in a highly technical environment involving proxies, Windows, Linux and databases. Because we prioritize minimal customer impact, you must be comfortable performing critical updates and maintenance during evening or off-peak windows that align with client needs (hours may vary).
You will perform server-side development work on APIs and improvements to system architecture, while collaborating directly with our engineering team to evolve our platform.
A core part of the role is staying current with the latest technology updates, security vulnerabilities, breaches, and industry events. You will proactively monitor for risks that could impact Mobilearth or our clients, assess their relevance, and take or recommend timely action to protect systems and data.
### Key Responsibilities
* **Infrastructure Mastery:** Architect, deploy, and maintain robust Linux and Windows server environments.
* **Automation:** Utilize Ansible to drive consistency and speed across our deployments.
* **Security & Compliance:** Manage digital certificates, implement advanced encryption, and maintain strong security posture.
* **Client Stewardship:** Lead bi-monthly IT strategy meetings, providing clear, proactive guidance to our clients.
* **Proactive Maintenance & Monitoring:** Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, automate manual processes, and continuously track emerging threats and updates.
* **Server-Side Development:** Work on APIs and system architecture improvements to enhance scalability, reliability, and functionality.
