Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packager to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by packaging them efficiently and accurately. This role requires a focus on quality, safety, and productivity, supporting the overall production process in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
We are looking to hire two workers to pack paper food containers. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay is CAD $17 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Carefully package finished products according to specifications and quality standards
- Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble packages securely
- Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials as needed
- Assist with product assembly and ensure proper labeling and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct quality checks on packaged items to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, lift, and handle materials throughout shifts
- Basic understanding of packaging processes and safety procedures
- Warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
