We are a vibrant and growing art and pottery studio dedicated to inspiring creativity through pottery classes, art workshops, camps, private events, and community programs. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team and help grow our brand through engaging content, strategic marketing, and community outreach.

Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and executing the studio's marketing initiatives across digital and traditional channels. This is a full-time, on-site position, requiring someone who is comfortable capturing content in the studio, working closely with instructors and customers, and promoting the studio's classes, workshops, retail products, camps, and special events.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media management, content creation, email marketing, and marketing analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management
- Manage the studio's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile.
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across all platforms.
- Respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Grow followers, engagement, and brand awareness through creative campaigns and community interaction.
- Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
- Content Creation
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of pottery classes, workshops, camps, events, products, instructors, and behind-the-scenes activities.
- Produce and edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels.
- Design promotional graphics, posters, brochures, flyers, and digital advertisements.
- Write compelling captions, blogs, event descriptions, website content, and promotional copy consistent with the studio's brand voice.
Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement marketing strategies that increase class registrations, memberships, birthday parties, corporate events, camps, and retail sales.
- Plan and execute seasonal marketing campaigns, holiday promotions, product launches, and special events.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement and brand awareness.
- Research industry trends, competitors, and customer insights to improve marketing performance.
- Coordinate cross-promotional partnerships with local businesses, schools, artists, and community organizations.
- Email Marketing
- Create, design, and distribute monthly newsletters and promotional email campaigns.
- Promote upcoming classes, workshops, events, camps, and special offers through email marketing.
- Manage and grow the customer email database.
- Monitor email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Website & Digital Marketing
- Update website content, class schedules, event listings, blogs, and promotional banners.
- Ensure branding remains consistent across all digital platforms.
- Assist with website SEO improvements to increase online visibility.
- Support digital advertising campaigns using Meta Ads and Google Ads.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics.
- Track social media performance, audience growth, engagement, and campaign success.
- Prepare weekly and monthly marketing reports with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements based on data.
- Measure marketing ROI and identify opportunities to optimize future campaigns.
Event Marketing
- Promote studio workshops, pottery classes, exhibitions, camps, and community events.
- Assist with event planning, marketing materials, photography, and social media coverage.
- Capture content during events for future promotional campaigns.
Brand Management
- Maintain consistent branding across all marketing materials and communication channels.
- Ensure all promotional materials align with the studio's mission and visual identity.
- Support the studio's reputation by delivering engaging, professional, and customer-focused marketing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Required Minimum 2+years of professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, social media management, or a related role.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
- Experience creating professional photo and video content for social media.
- Strong video editing skills using CapCut, or similar software.
- Experience with Canva.
- Experience creating and managing email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
- Experience using Google Analytics and social media analytics to measure marketing performance.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the studio team.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred
- Experience working in an art studio, pottery studio, retail, education, or creative business.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Knowledge of SEO and website content management (WordPress or similar CMS).
- Photography and videography experience.
- Experience working with influencers, community partnerships, or local marketing initiatives.
