A-Protect Warranty Corporation is seeking an Auto Service Advisor to manage automotive warranty claims from intake through resolution. This role focuses on reviewing repair estimates, confirming coverage eligibility, authorizing repairs, and processing claim payments in accordance with A-Protect warranty contracts.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable communicating with repair facilities, dealerships, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review and process automotive warranty claims submitted by repair facilities and dealerships
- Verify vehicle eligibility, coverage terms, deductibles, and claim limits
- Review repair estimates and determine covered vs. non-covered components
- Authorize repairs within policy guidelines and escalate exceptions when required
- Communicate clearly with repair facilities regarding approvals, coverage decisions, and documentation requirements
- Monitor claims through repair completion and review final invoices for accuracy
- Process claim payments according to internal procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate claim notes and documentation in the internal system
- Ensure all claims comply with warranty contract terms and company policies
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in automotive claims, warranty administration, service advising, or a related role
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes, parts, and labour
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Comfortable working with computers, claim systems, and digital documentation
- Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously
Preferred Experience
- Experience handling vehicle service contract or extended warranty claims
- Automotive knowledge; Automotive service advisor or warranty administrator background
- Experience communicating with repair shops and dealerships
Schedule & Compensation
- $22 per hour
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- In-office position
- Monday–Friday (9 am - 5 pm) schedule
