Data Analyst
Overview
We are looking for a Data Analyst to support data collection, reporting, and business decision-making. In this role, you will work with structured datasets, develop reports and dashboards, and collaborate with internal teams to provide data-driven insights. The position is suitable for candidates with practical experience in data analysis and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Write SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate data.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Identify trends, patterns, and business insights from data.
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Maintain and update databases and reporting documentation.
- Support database management using Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Assist with process improvements through data analysis.
- Document data processes and reporting procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver analytics projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience using SQL for querying relational databases.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis is preferred.
- Familiarity with Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Understanding of database structures and data modeling principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly in reports and presentations.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Experience with data visualization best practices.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python, VBA, or Bash) is an asset.
