About the Job
Are you someone who takes pride in fixing problems, keeping properties running smoothly, and working with your hands? We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Property Maintenance Worker to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Property Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll support the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of office buildings, rental units, and grounds primarily throughout the Niagara Region, with occasional travel to other areas within Ontario. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and is comfortable handling everything from preventative maintenance to emergency repairs.
32-40 hours weekly.
Hourly rate: $25 - $28 an hour based on skills and qualifications
What You’ll Be Doing
Here’s What You Need
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence in good standing
Minimum 1 year of experience in facility or property maintenance is considered an asset, but not required
Proven experience identifying issues and performing minor repairs involving:
Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated repair and maintenance skills
Experience using power tools safely and effectively
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records
First Aid, WHMIS, and Working at Heights certifications are considered assets
