We are looking for a reliable and motivated Renovation Helper / General Labourer who wants more than a temporary renovation and construction job. This position is suited to someone who takes pride in their work, wants to learn and is prepared to become a valuable member of a team.
Experience is an asset, but attitude, attendance, communication and willingness to learn are equally important.
What You Will Learn and Do
You will work alongside experienced renovators and assist with different stages of residential and light-commercial renovation projects, including:
- Preparing and protecting clients’ homes before work begins
- Assisting with demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, trim and general construction
- Moving, loading and organizing tools and materials
- Keeping jobsites, company vehicles, tools and the shop clean and organized
- Following detailed workscopes and completing assigned daily tasks
- Assisting site supervisors, renovators and trade contractors
- Identifying when materials, tools or additional instructions are needed
- Completing end-of-day cleanup and helping maintain a safe jobsite
- Learning proper renovation methods and progressing toward more independent responsibilities

Position Requirements
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence with a clean or acceptable driving abstract
- Comfortable driving company vehicles when required
- Ability to lift approximately 40–50 pounds
- Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work safely in an active construction environment
- Reliable transportation to our office or assigned meeting location
- Construction or renovation experience is considered an asset
- One to two years of experience is preferred but not required for a dependable and motivated candidate
