Responsibilities
- Repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise installations
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures and related systems to prevent future issues
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing components within larger projects
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations
- Apply HVAC knowledge when necessary for integrated system troubleshooting and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal Plumber certification
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance across various settings
- Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in HVAC systems, carpentry, schematics, and assembly processes
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and reading technical schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of safety standards, building codes, and regulations related to plumbing work
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and precision in execution
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
