Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure food safety standards, and maintain high-quality food preparation and service. Previous supervising experience in the food industry, including restaurant management and hospitality, is highly valued. A background in food handling, cooking, and serving, along with management experience, will be considered advantageous. The Shift Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and fostering a positive team environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
- Lead and motivate team members, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Manage customer service interactions to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and efficient service.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and picking up product at the wholesalers, maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
- Enforce health and safety standards across the restaurant to promote a safe working environment for all staff.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing labor costs effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Supervising or restaurant management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in kitchen operations, serving, or management roles is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
