Our Opportunity:
We are looking for an Apprentice Refrigeration Technician who is interested in building a rewarding, long-term career with us. As part of our installation team, which installs new refrigeration systems and renovates existing refrigeration systems for supermarkets and grocery stores, you will receive hands-on experience, ongoing development, and the opportunity to grow into a Journeyperson Refrigeration Technician.
Apprentices are supervised and mentored by Certified Refrigeration Technicians. You will have the ability to learn and apply company methods, practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements to install refrigeration systems.

Requirements
- Must be available to work flexible hours, evenings, nights and weekends. Must be able to travel for work (typically between 1 – 10 nights out of town per trip; travel and living out allowance provided)
- Willing to work overtime hours
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is a must
- Career oriented with an interest in ongoing technical and professional training
- Skilled trade experience preferred
- Experience repairing, installing and commissioning refrigeration systems in supermarkets is a definite asset
- Electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting skills are an asset
- Able to analyze and interpret construction and schematic drawings, technical literature, and equipment specifications is an asset
- Self-motivated and team-oriented
- Ability to independently apply our processes and procedures
- Effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Class 5 driver’s license
