Social Media Manager / Receptionist, Full-Time | Medical Spa
We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Social Media Manager / Receptionist to join our growing medical spa team. This dual-role position combines front desk administration with social media management and marketing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be creative, outgoing, tech-savvy, and passionate about beauty, skincare, wellness, and customer service.
Experience in the medical aesthetics, beauty, or skincare industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Reception & Client Experience
- Welcome clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer phone calls, emails, text messages, and social media inquiries professionally.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using clinic booking software.
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records.
- Assist with treatment consultations and convert inquiries into bookings.
- Follow up with clients regarding appointments, treatments, and promotions.
- Maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized reception area.
Social Media & Marketing
- Develop and manage social media content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Create engaging posts, stories, reels, videos, and promotional content using Canva and other tools.
- Capture high-quality before-and-after photos, treatment videos, testimonials, and clinic content.
- Plan, film, edit, and publish Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
- Participate in content creation and be comfortable appearing in social media videos when required.
- Respond to social media messages, comments, and online reviews.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, special promotions, and outreach initiatives.
- Monitor social media performance and suggest strategies to increase engagement, leads, and bookings.
- Stay current with beauty industry and social media trends.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of experience in social media management, reception, customer service, marketing, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Canva, and content creation.
- Experience creating and editing Instagram Reels and TikTok videos.
- Comfortable using smartphones and video editing tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Strong customer service and sales skills with the ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
Preferred
- Diploma or certificate in Digital Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field.
- Experience in a medical spa, beauty clinic, dermatology / plastic surgery office, or wellness environment.
- Candidates with experience performing facials or skincare treatments will be given special consideration.
- Good Knowledge of skin care products and medical spa treatments will be an asset.
Assets
- Medical Aesthetician or Esthetics certification.
- Experience performing facials or skincare treatments.
- Experience with photography, videography, or paid social media advertising.
- Proven ability to grow social media accounts and generate leads.
Commission Structure
- 5% commission on all retail product sales
- $5–$15 per booked treatment appointment generated via:
- Social media inquiries (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok)
- Front desk conversions from inquiries
- Higher commission for advanced/high-value treatments and packages may apply
Monthly Bonuses
- $100–$500 performance bonus based on:
- Number of bookings generated
- Sales performance
- Social media growth and engagement
- Overall contribution to clinic growth
