Responsibilities:
- Monitor the assigned site and maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Control access to the property by verifying authorized personnel and visitors.
- Conduct regular patrols and routine site inspections.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and security concerns.
- Observe, investigate, and report suspicious activities or safety hazards.
- Complete accurate incident reports, daily logs, and required documentation.
- Enforce site policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain a professional security presence and communicate effectively with clients, visitors, and emergency responders when required.
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification is an asset.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Previous security experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to stand, walk, and perform regular patrols throughout the shift.
