Wireline Completion Supervisor
The Wireline Completion Supervisor oversees the cased hole operation in the field to fulfill customer’s requirements. This position reports to the divisional manager, safety coordinator/manager and possibly other internal clients. Key responsibilities include supervising crew and equipment at the well site and in the shop to provide specific logging and completion services, performing quality control of log data and service quality, communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction, as well as being responsible for safe operations for all individuals on the jobsite.

Job Description:
This position will perform a wide range of duties related to cased hole wireline operations, including but not limited to:
- Conduct field supervision and coordination of wireline operations.
- Supervise crew and equipment at the well site and at the shop to provide specific logging and completion services.
- Oversee field service preparation as well as post service maintenance of equipment and required paperwork.
- Coordinate with divisional manager for upcoming jobs. Determine and plan equipment, personnel, techniques and other items required for performing jobs.
- Provide direct recommendations, suggestions and input to divisional manager regarding the performance and actions of assigned personnel.
- Coordinate with HSE in order to ensure compliance with all safety requirements and best practices for each job.
- Coordinate with customer operations personnel to obtain information on current activity as well as next/ upcoming jobs and locations.
- Directly supervise 1-4 Operators depending on the type of jobs.
- Ensure assigned personnel are operating by company standards.
- Check all company equipment to ensure proper functionality and adequacy for the job.
- Review and provide initial approval for assigned crew DOT paperwork, timesheets, and other items as may be required for self and assigned operators.
- Oversee the safe handling, logging, transport, and use of explosive materials through the full cycle of an assigned wireline job.
- Meet with customer representatives on job location to ensure they are satisfied with the quality of service provided.
- Advise customer representative in the logging and completions operations; field logging data QC and interpretation, troubleshooting, and well-site analysis and decision-making processes.
- Assemble and perform a variation of perforating tasks and other wireline services.
- Prepare and submit all field deliverables in compliance with customer request, and field tickets for customer approval and submission to the operations manager in a timely manner.
- Ensure proper job prep and pre-job checks are complete.
- Ensure all personnel are fit for duty with proper Alberta transportation records and maintenance of vehicles before travel.
- Assist in maintenance of wireline units and ensure documentation is complete.
- Perform additional duties within the district; Provide operational assistance, training and supervision to the crew as required.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Experience:
The successful candidate must possess:
Experience:
· 5 years of Wireline experience, with at least 1 year of running a truck
Qualifications / Certifications:
· Thorough understanding of and competency in oilfield wireline operations and services (advanced open/case hole services)
· Extensive experience with Open Hole or Cased Hole services and product line training in Wireline
· Safety Certifications (H2S, First Aid) are required
· Post secondary certificate, education or apprenticeship might be a value.
· Clean 3Q license
· Strong operational and Maintenance knowledge of equipment

· Proficiency with
o Computer – Warrior Logging system, Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Chrome
o Smart phone - browser, text messages and apps
· Background check is legally required for the successful candidate due to the possible handling of explosives/dangerous goods
