Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a smooth and efficient dental office environment. Responsibilities
- Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using AbelDent or similar dental management software
- Manage patient follow-ups, and treatment plans
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and operatory areas
- Support pediatric patients and address their specific needs with patience and care
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
Requirements
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Experience with AbelDent or similar dental practice management software preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Bilingual skills (Serbo-Croatian) are highly desirable but not necessary to serve
- Background in dental assisting or general dental office experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Familiarity with orthodontics procedures is a bonus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour
