Job Summary
Edge Health is looking for a Registered Massage Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary clinic on Saturdays from 9-1/2.
This is a great opportunity for an RMT looking to build or expand their practice in a supportive, collaborative environment alongside chiropractic, physiotherapy, acupuncture, osteopathy, and naturopathic care.
We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, patient-focused, and motivated to provide excellent care and create lasting patient relationships.
Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure excellent customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client inquiries professionally.
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Massage Therapist is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment plans.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to foster trust and build lasting client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively discussing treatment options and addressing client needs.
- Certification or licensing as required by state regulations is mandatory for practice.
