Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to health regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
Experience
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is desirable
- Experience working in the food industry or in a restaurant setting demonstrates familiarity with kitchen operations
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
