We are looking for a warm, engaging, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Workshop Instructor & Retail Associate. You’ll guide customers through the creative perfume-making process while providing exceptional retail service in our boutique.
Responsibilities
Workshop Facilitation:
- Host small-group perfume workshops with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Educate guests about fragrance families, perfume notes, and blending techniques
- Guide participants through hands-on scent creation
- Ensure a safe, organized, and engaging workshop environment
Retail Sales & Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in selecting fragrances and products
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell when appropriate
- Process sales transactions using POS system
- Maintain store cleanliness and merchandise displays
Additional Duties:
- Assist with workshop preparation and cleanup
- Restock workshop supplies and boutique inventory
- Participate in occasional marketing activities (photoshoots, videos, social media content)
Requirements
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Friendly, welcoming, and customer-focused attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Organized and attentive to details
- Interest in fragrance, beauty, or creative workshops (training provided)
- Retail or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
Position Type:
Part-time (10-25 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as needed)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
