Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote and sell swine artificial insemination (AI) equipment and related livestock products. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new markets, maintaining customer relationships with pig farms and agricultural distributors, providing technical support and product training, and achieving sales targets within assigned regions. Candidates with knowledge of swine breeding management, AI procedures, and livestock industry experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to potential clients
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service, including addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business
- Achieve assigned sales targets through active customer development, effective relationship management, and consistent follow-up on sales opportunities and payment collection.
Requirements
- Diploma in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Animal Husbandry, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of sales experience in livestock breeding, animal health, swine artificial insemination products, or agricultural equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of swine breeding management, artificial insemination procedures, and related equipment
- Familiarity with pig farms, boar stations, and agricultural distribution channels is an asset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, customer service, and relationship management skills
- Ability to provide product training and technical support to customers
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and achieve sales targets
- Willingness and ability to travel within assigned territories
- Existing industry network and relevant veterinary or animal husbandry certifications are considered strong assets

Pay: From $3,000.00 per month
