The Bonnyville Neighbourhood Inn is seeking a capable Kitchen Supervisor. The successful candidate is a back-of-the-house professional, providing excellent preparation skills and team leadership. This position may require some extra hours from time to time, particularly at month-end, so the ability to work some weekends is required.

Primary Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and the establishment’s culinary style.
- Ensure food safety and customer satisfaction by accommodating dietary restrictions, allergies, and intolerances while maintaining quality control standards.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, recordkeeping, and minimizing waste.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment through regular inspection of food preparation and service areas and adherence to sanitation standards.
- Coordinate food service activities by establishing work schedules, prioritizing tasks, and supervising food delivery processes to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, demonstrating attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and the stamina required for prolonged standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
Required Skills and Abilities:
- You have a food-safe certificate
- You must be able to communicate in writing and verbally in English
- You must have the flexibility to work a rotation of shifts. Including weekends, evenings, holidays, and opening and closing shifts
- You must have a clear criminal record check
- You must be able to legally work in Canada
