Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture, utilizing a variety of woodworking techniques and tools. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a strong understanding of design schematics to produce durable and aesthetically pleasing products. The Cabinet Maker will collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met and projects are completed on time.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinetry components using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and woodworking equipment.
- Install cabinets and furniture on-site or in workshop settings, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Perform precise measurements, rebar installation, reconditioning, restoration, and finishing work as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other trades such as electrical, plumbing, or masonry teams when necessary for integrated projects.
- Assist in estimating project costs based on material requirements and labor needs.
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, caulking, roofing, siding, tile laying, flooring installation, and other construction activities.
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
- Strong woodworking skills including cabinetry assembly, woodworking techniques, and finishing.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and construction equipment.
- Knowledge of construction painting, restoration processes, flooring installation, tile laying, siding installation, roofing, caulking, masonry work, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical experience, and general handyman skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Construction experience with a focus on carpentry or manufacturing environments.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce precise measurements and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project requirements.

Pay: $15.00-$16.00 per hour
