Job Title:
Labourers
Job Summary:
The primary objective of the Labourer is to provide on site services support and conduct general Labourer duties associated with job scope, within 2 weeks
Reports To
:
Reports to and is provided with day-to-day direction from the Project/Construction Manager(s) while on site.
Responsibilities:
Understand and comply with Flatstone policies, procedures and safety requirements, as well as the clients.
Flying to site on a 2- week rotation, working 11 regular hours a day, with a one hour unpaid lunch
In the Underground process area, there is the one filter that require internal media replacement
Working in a confined space, removing the top layer of sand media in using the Underground Vac-Truck system, while utilizing respiratory protection based on monitoring results
Remaining larger media to be removed manually from inside the vessel
Replace Media and internals in reverse order after inspection is completed
Care and Attention must be exercised in order not to damage the lining of the vessels
Provide support to on-site personnel as needed
Qualifications:
1-2 years of related work experience within the mining and/or commercial/industrial construction industry.
Experience working in construction camp setting and with working knowledge of safety protocols.
Complete a negative drug and alcohol test prior to starting on-site.
