Position Summary
The Dishwasher supports daily back-of-house operations by ensuring all dishware, cookware, utensils, and glassware are cleaned and sanitized according to established standards. This position is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment, aligned with the service excellence expected at Stone Eagle Winery.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store all dishware, cookware, utensils, and glassware
- Monitor dishwasher temperature and chemical levels to ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish pit, sinks, and surrounding areas
- Take out trash, recyclables, and compost in accordance with waste management procedures
- Assist with cleaning of kitchen equipment, prep surfaces, floors, and storage areas
- Restock clean kitchen tools and equipment as needed to support line and prep cooks
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Follow direction from the kitchen leadership to meet service demands
- Collaborate respectfully with back-of-house team members to maintain a clean and productive environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Dependable transportation to and from the winery
- Strong work ethic and consistent punctuality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour

- Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
