QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:

Licensed Millwright (443A) required
- Minimum five (5) years of mechanical maintenance and repair experience
- Dual‑ticketed Millwright/Electrician considered an asset
- Grade 12 English and Math, or equivalent
- Previous experience in facilities or building maintenance is an asset
- Strong working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical layouts, building construction drawings, and schematics
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work on the production floor and provide support over the phone
- Willingness and ability to work overtime and extended hours as required
- Demonstrated contributions to improvements in safety, ergonomics, cost reduction, quality, and process stability
MAIN DUTIES:

Inspect, maintain, and repair building envelope, utilities, services, infrastructure, and related monitoring devices
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, dock and door systems, lighting, and other facility‑related equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance activities in accordance with established schedules and procedures
- Accurately complete work orders, inspections, reports, and associated documentation
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors as required
- Coordinate facilities work with production and other internal departments to minimize disruption
- Maintain 5S standards, including a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Respond to breakdowns and facility-related issues in a timely manner
- Coordinate and oversee outside contractors when required
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspections, and work orders

Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Responsible for continuous improvement implementation.
