Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations, preparing meals, and ensuring a high standard of food safety and quality. Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and assemble menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve food to customers efficiently and courteously
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment
- Support inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Follow all safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Strong understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Prior kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food safety, meal preparation, and culinary techniques
