Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) – Anesthesia & Surgery
Bridgeway Veterinary Specialists of Vancouver is a privately owned specialty surgical hospital seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) with an interest in anesthesia and surgical patient care.
Experienced RVTs are encouraged to apply. We also welcome motivated new graduates with a strong interest in anesthesia and surgery.
Our RVTs are trusted to manage anesthesia while working closely with Board-Certified Surgeons and fellow RVTs to ensure safe, coordinated surgical care.

Our RVTs are hands-on and deeply involved in complex surgical cases, following patients from admission and anesthesia through recovery and discharge—allowing you to see the full impact of your care.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and refine advanced anesthesia and surgical skills in a specialty setting. We are also expanding our services, including the addition of a CT scanner.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage anesthesia for surgical patients in collaboration with the surgical team
- Assist with advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgical procedures
- Monitor and support patients throughout recovery
- Communicate clearly with the surgical team and clients
- Contribute to a patient-focused, detail-oriented culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Registered Veterinary Technnologist (RVT) in Canada (required)
- Strong interest or experience in anesthesia
- Experience in surgery, specialty, or complex cases is an asset
- Professional, collaborative, and composed under pressure
What We Offer:
- $32–$35/hour, based on experience
- 4 or 5 day workweek
- No weekend surgeries
- 4 weeks paid vacation, including Christmas closure
