As a Senior Electrical Engineer on Revamp's High Voltage Substation team, you will serve as a senior contributor and subject-matter expert across the spectrum of substation design, primarily focused on both protection & control (P&C) and physical design. You will take ownership of QA/QC reviews and act as a confident internal and external technical resource — reviewing and redlining design deliverables, cross-checking drawings, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with the multi-disciplinary stakeholders in an employee-owned culture where every individual's contributions strengthen project outcomes, increase company success, and meaningfully advance the clean-energy transition.

- Serve as a multi-disciplinary subject matter expert in substation design with a focus on P&C and physical scopes; however, broad substation and transmission/distribution knowledge is beneficial.

Lead QA/QC reviews of substation design deliverables across both P&C and physical scopes.

Redline P&C drawing packages and cross-check with physical drawings for consistency and accuracy.

Create and review complex electrical engineering plans, details, and calculations, and schedules. .

Develop and review equipment specifications, applying advanced knowledge of substation electrical design.

Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.

May act as Engineer of Record if eligible.
- Serve as a confident, client-facing technical resource, comfortable leading and participating in client calls.
- Answer client technical questions clearly and confidently, representing Revamp's engineering standards.
- Support client interaction across multiple projects and portfolios.
- May also perform technical design & quality assurance in the role of an owner's engineer, supporting our external clients in their design efforts.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and staff engineers.
- Collaborate with the cross-discipline departments, including studies, structural, and civil teams, providing design context and cross-checks without needing to lead their work directly.
- Partner with discipline leads to maintain design standards and consistency.
- Perform field visits, with up to ~10% travel required, to validate designs and build practical, constructable knowledge.
- Perform essential duties, including meeting deliverables and deadlines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned or directed.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a similar discipline.

8+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, specifically in substation design.

Extensive, diversified knowledge of substation electrical design across both protection & control (P&C) and physical scopes, including the ability to redline and cross-check P&C and physical drawings for consistency, quality, and constructability.

Ability to independently apply advanced engineering principles, develop or improve techniques and processes, and review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.

Experience owning larger or more complex projects, overseeing a small suite of projects, or supporting portfolio-level execution with responsibility for scopes, budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.

Comfort serving as a discipline or team point of contact in client-facing settings, with strong-to-advanced verbal and written communication skills and the judgment to answer technical questions clearly and confidently.

Ability to operate with limited oversight, seeking guidance mainly on complex or conflicting-criteria assignments.

Willingness to mentor junior engineers, coordinate multi-person deliverables.

Ability to identify and solve complex problems and handle multiple projects simultaneously and independently.

Willingness to perform field visits and travel up to ~10%.
- Professional Engineering (PE) licensure; multi-state licensure desirable. PE is preferred but not required.

Renewable energy substation experience.

AutoCAD or other hands-on CAD/drafting skills, especially Substation Design Suite tools.
