We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. If you are a creative professional with strong technical skills and an eye for detail, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Create visually compelling graphics and creative work using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.)
- Develop and execute layouts for magazines, books, and editorial projects
- Produce layouts and designs for event and activation displays and special builds for sets and stages
- Produce basic animation and motion graphics, including simple video editing for social media.
- Sketch and illustrate custom artwork assets as needed
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to bring concepts to life
- Ensure all work aligns with PALETTERA’s high standards of quality and creativity
- Conduct occasional in-studio or off-site photography for project assets
- Perform photo editing and colour correction on images and photographs
- Create physical samples and prototypes (paper mock-ups, stationery samples, 3D printing models)
- Prepare and export files to print-ready and production-ready formats according to vendor specifications
Assets
- Experience in editorial design/layout and publication design
- Experience in activation design
- Experience in video editing, basic animation and motion graphics/motion-based visual content
- Experience working with CAD software and/or renderings (interior or graphic design)
- Hands-on experience with photography and/or videography
- Prior involvement in event-related projects or the events industry
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (required)
- French language skills considered an asset
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
- 5+ years of professional design experience, specializing in editorial and activation design.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects)
- Demonstrated experience in editorial design and layout
- Solid understanding of preparing files for print, production, and digital publishing
- Basic animation and motion graphics capability
- Illustration skills
- Strong attention to detail and aesthetic judgment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- High proficiency in English (required)
