Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented person to join our Speech Therapy Team. In this role, you will support licensed therapists in providing high-quality client care across a couple of settings (at a school, in home or in office). You will provide opportunities for speech practice and literacy practice by following treatment plans set-out by the SLP and providing feedback on progress.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and experience working with children.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in educational therapy. On the job training will be provided.
A minimum of 1 day per week during school hours is needed with the potential for more.
Duties
- Assist licensed therapists with treatment
- Support patients during therapy activities, ensuring safety and engagement
- Document client progress
Experience
- Experience working with pediatric populations is an asset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate attitude with a dedication to patient-centered care
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
