We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to relieve stress, alleviate pain, and promote overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massages.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on their specific conditions and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sanitized and ready for use.
- Document client sessions accurately in accordance with company policies and maintain confidentiality of client information.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options, aftercare advice, and any necessary follow-up appointments.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuous education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Massage Therapist is required.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a spa or wellness center is preferred but not mandatory.
- A commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining professionalism at all times.
