The Big Box - Family Entertainment Hub is Calgary’s premier family fun center. We are seeking enthusiastic, high-energy, and dependable Restaurant Associates to join the team at The Bite Box, our in-house restaurant. Position Overview & Benefits
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, or Temporary positions available.
- Compensation: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour.
- Facility Hours: 7 days a week, year-round (including holidays) from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must be flexible to work a variety of shifts, including required weekends and holidays.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Inventory
- Prepare delicious finger foods (pizza, wings, fries, hot dogs, etc.) according to established guidelines and recipes.
- Perform daily stock checks in the kitchen and help prepare replenishment orders.
Guest Service & Front-of-House
- Deliver exceptional guest service by being warm, engaging, and welcoming to families of all ages.
- Serve food directly to guest tables with a friendly attitude.
- Operate the POS system and manage cash register transactions accurately on a daily basis.
Cleanliness & Safety
- Maintain the dining area, ensuring the seating space remains clean, tidy, and organized.
- Follow strict health and safety guidelines for all kitchen cleaning, sanitization, and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Language: Proficiency in English is preferred.
- Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in Canada (Required).
- Attributes: Must be a team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
