Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hard working Furniture Mover & Delivery Driver (On Call) to join our team at Social Ingredients. This role is vital in ensuring timely delivery of furniture and accessories for our events. As part of our team, you will contribute to creating beautiful spaces assisting with the delivery and installation of our inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery, set up and pick ups for events- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport furniture and accessories to various locations.
- Load and unload items with care, ensuring all goods are secured during transit.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during equipment handling, transportation, warehouse and at client sites.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations.
- Work closely with our event and warehouse teams.
- Support the team during busy periods with flexible on-call availability
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Prior driving and furniture moving experience is required.
- Experience driving 3-ton & 5-ton box trucks.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual handling tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling. Shift time may vary and can include early morning, evening, weekends and late nights.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to transportation and handling of goods.

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
