About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Mandarin Chinese teacher to deliver high-quality language instruction to our students. The ideal candidate will help learners build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing while fostering an understanding of Chinese culture. You will track student progress and create a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mandarin Chinese to children at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels
- Develop engaging lesson plans and learning materials
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Integrate cultural elements into lessons
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, training, or curriculum development (if applicable)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language, Education, Linguistics, or related field
- 5 + year experience teaching Mandarin
- Clear pronunciation in Standard Mandarin
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Strong communication and classroom-management skill
