We are a small boutique store in Whistler looking for a full-time sales associate to join our close-knit team. This position is for full-time with a minimum of 4 days and potential to move up roles. For the right candidate we offer monthly bonuses, vacation pay, wellness benefit, staff discounts and other incentives. Starting wage will be $22 an hour depending on experience, with an increase after a 3 month probation period.

It was created out of a love for local designers and handcrafted products that are inspired by this beautiful part of the world. We have been awarded Pique Magazine’s ‘Best Gift Shop’ award for the past 7 consecutive years and have been featured in multiple editorials such as the New York Times.
As a sales associate duties will include but not limited to, working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer questions about products, and being able to resolve customer complaints promptly.

Basic responsibilities will include:
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Going the extra mile to drive sales
Maintaining and monitoring merchandise and store aesthetic
Retaining a wealth of product knowledge
Processing point of sales purchases
Handling returns
Requirements:
Must be able to work weekends
Minimum 4 days a week with availability to work flexible shifts
Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative or similar role in Customer Service
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Basic Math skills
Hands-on experience with POS transactions
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality with a customer service focus
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints promptly
