Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging with providers , promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at the agency home care . You need to be a registered early childhood educator and be bilingual speak English and French
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that accommodates diverse learning needs.
- Engage with children in various activities, including play, art, music, and movement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and individual progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or special education needs.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively balance multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient in computer operation for administrative tasks such as record keeping and lesson planning.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and French is a plus (bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
- Creative problem-solving skills to adapt lessons based on individual student needs.
- A nurturing demeanor that promotes a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Commitment to educating young minds while fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
