About Us
Bridge Education is a tutoring and academic support center based in Greater Vancouver. We provide high-quality instruction in Math, English, AP, SAT, and academic enrichment programs. We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced SAT Teacher to join our team and help students improve their SAT performance and build strong test-taking skills.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time SAT Teacher who can teach SAT Math and/or SAT English. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts clearly to high school students. Experience with standardized test preparation is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach SAT Math and/or SAT English to high school students
- Help students understand SAT question types, test strategies, and time management skills
- Prepare lessons based on students’ current levels and learning goals
- Review practice tests and identify students’ weaknesses
- Provide clear explanations for difficult questions
- Track student progress and provide feedback after lessons
- Support students in building confidence and improving their test scores
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SAT Math and/or SAT English
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Familiarity with the digital SAT format is an asset
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear and structured way
- Responsible, patient, and professional
- Available after school and/or on weekends
- Bachelor’s degree or current university student in a related field preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous SAT, AP, IB, or high school tutoring experience
- Strong academic background in Math, English, Education, Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Experience teaching small group classes or one-on-one tutoring
- Ability to teach in English; Mandarin is an asset
Schedule
- Part-time hours
- Weekday evenings and/or weekends
- Flexible schedule based on student enrollment
