Job Summary
We are seeking an Architectural Technician for a full-time, in-office direct hire opportunity in Huntsville, ON. As an Architectural Technician, you will prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, specifications, product layouts, and documentation for window and door projects. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation for window and door products.
- Create and revise detailed product layouts using AutoCAD based on architectural plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings to determine window and door requirements for residential and commercial projects.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with applicable building codes, construction methods, and design standards.
- Prepare material take-offs, schedules, and product specifications to support accurate project planning and execution.
- Respond to technical inquiries, provide design support, and maintain accurate project records and documentation.
