Job Description
We are looking for a full-time employee to help with the day-to-day activities in our broiler barns. You will be performing a variety of duties to maintain a high level of care for our chicken flocks. These duties will include daily record keeping, daily monitoring of chickens and ensuring the overall health of our chicken flocks. You may also assist with seasonal field operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily checks and record keeping in broiler barns
- Assist with cleaning and bedding of barns
- Operate equipment such as tractors and ventrac inside the barns
- Troubleshooting alarm systems and equipment
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs
Qualifications
- Previous experience with livestock and/or farm equipment is preferred
- Mechanical inclination is an asset
- Good attention to detail
- Valid G license
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
