We are currently looking for a full-time Delivery Driver to join our team!
This position is responsible for efficiently servicing assigned customers, while complying with all local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations and with Company policies. The driver operates a 5 ton truck to transport and deliver products to customer locations. The driver is responsible for the distribution of the Dan-D Foods Ltd. product that can weigh 5 - 75 lbs as part of their rigorous daily routine. This physically involved position involves mounting & dismounting the truck numerous times every shift. In addition to these duties, vehicle inspection is required. Our drivers have safe driving records and communicate professionally with customers &, dispatch, at all times while completing logs and daily reports.
Key Accountabilities:
Transport and deliver products to customer locations
Operate a 3 ton vehicle in a safe manner at all times and adhere to all road regulations and with the utmost safety and care for the public
Arrange assigned deliveries and prepare delivery manifests
While delivering product, conduct yourself in a friendly and professional manner with customers and the general public you may come into contact with
Ensure receiving signatures and any payments (cash and cheques) are returned nightly
Your Attributes:
- Must have a minimum Class 5 Driver's License
- Air brake endorsement
A driver's abstract will be required at the time of interview.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
