Job Summary
UniverCell Canada is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sales & Device Operations Assistant to support daily sales, device grading, packing, and e-commerce operations.
This role works closely with the E-Commerce & Operations team and plays a key role in ensuring devices are accurately graded, properly packed, and efficiently processed for sale and shipment.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Device Grading & Quality Control
- Perform cosmetic grading (A / B / C) of smartphones and electronic devices
- Conduct functional testing using diagnostic tools (training provided)
- Verify device details including model, storage, battery health, IMEI, and carrier status
- Accurately record grading results in internal systems
- Identify defective units and route them for repair or further inspection
Packing, Shipping & Order Processing
- Clean, pack, and label devices according to company standards
- Verify IMEI and order details before shipment
- Generate and manage shipping labels
- Ensure proper packaging for safe delivery
- Update shipment tracking information
Operations & Inventory Support
- Assist with daily operations workflows
- Support inventory counting, reconciliation, and documentation
- Follow SOPs for device handling, grading, and packing
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to handle devices carefully and follow processes
- Basic understanding of smartphone specifications (asset, not required)
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
