Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting various accounting functions using leading accounting software. Duties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, and UltiPro.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data across multiple accounts.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to financial transactions with precision and efficiency.
- Assist with account analysis and budgeting activities to support financial planning.
- Process payroll using ADP or similar payroll systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal controls.
- Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, Workday, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, Kronos, or UltiPro.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation processes.
- Experience with payroll systems like ADP or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in data entry and financial analysis with excellent attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices within a financial services environment.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Prior experience in budgeting and account analysis is preferred.
