Job Description
- Installation of complete PV solar panel systems. Equipment such as; solar panels, rails, ground wire, sub panels, junction boxes, and disconnects.
- Work at heights, using small hand tools.
- Ensuring workplace safety by following WorkSafeBC safe working guidelines, with safety at the forefront of your decision-making.
- Performing all work in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding company expectations.
- Read and follow installation paperwork and team lead instructions.
- Providing high-quality workmanship and attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction, while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Using company tools and equipment with care and reporting any damage or malfunctions immediately.
- Maintain clean workspaces through consistent maintenance and organization.
Qualifications
- Ability to work at elevated heights and in diverse weather conditions is required.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to use hand tools correctly.
- Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Ability to work alone or within a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Electrical apprentice is preferred but not essential, looking for the right candidate.
Summary
As a Solar Installer with Swiss Solar Tech, you will be integral part of a small team installing PV solar systems from Osoyoos to Kelowna.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$36.00 per hour
