Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer specializing in Shingle and Metal Roofing to join our professional construction team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, construction, or carpentry, with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and efficiency. Responsibilities / Requirements
- Install, repair, and replace shingle and metal roofing systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and secure roofing materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure proper installation procedures.
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofing structures.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality standards are met.
- Assist in the setup of scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment for roof access.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents or injuries during roofing operations.
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel for out-of-town projects when required.
Experience
- We are looking for a reliable hard working roofer to join our team. Experience with asphalt shingles and metal roofing is a must.
